Luckily enough one of my friends showed up with their 89 kawasaki zx-7 and had a chance to use it today. I installed the dampeners as instructed to in the manual and used the carbtune on the bike and man I can't beleive how easy it was to synch. the carbs. It made a world of a difference before and after as special in the bikes smoothness no more vibrations and a smoother exhaust tone. As measured at the dyno, the Carbtune II has added about 8bhp and 10ftlb's to the output. The previously poor response from partial throttle settings to wide-open-throttle has been completely fixed. The car is nowalso more flexible at low throttle settings, which has been evidenced in reduced fuel consumption.
